Brownwood News – In session Monday morning, December 17, Brown County Commissioners briefly talked about temporarily lifting the Burn Ban but, in the end, took no action, meaning the Brown County Burn Ban remains in effect. It was mentioned, however, that those who need to conduct a burn may contact their county commissioner and ask for an exemption to burn.
Commissioners voted to approved purchase of 8 body cameras for bailiffs and transport deputies. Cost is $3,600 to come out of the county’s equipment fund budget.
Commissioners also voted to approve an annexation agreement between Brown County and City of Early on 2,035 feet of county road 341 and 5,090 feet of East River Oaks Road.
