The City is gearing up for the renovation project on the Coliseum Annex building to be converted into a Senior Citizens Center.  This approximately $1 million renovation project will significantly alter the building.  City Manager Bobby Rountree said today that the new building will have an expanded kitchen, game room, computer room, redesigned restroom and room to seat 115 people.

Today the city council approved the opening of bids for this renovation project for October 8th and to award the bid on October 15th.   The estimated completion date of this project is April 1st, 2010.  Demolition of the interior facets of the building has already begun.
