A cold front will move through the area tonight, bringing much colder temperatures.
Temperatures for Thursday will start in low to mid 30s and will be falling during the day. Northeast winds of 15 to 25 mph will produce wind chills in the teens. Lows Friday morning will be in the teens to lower 20s.
The areas with the best chances for seeing accumulations of snow will be the Heartland and northwest Hill Country, south and east of Brown County. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 4 p.m. Thursday through 9 a.m. on Friday for areas south of an Eldorado, to Brady, to San Saba line. Many areas will see accumulations up to a half inch with snowfall amounts near 1 inch in the advisory area.Cold temperatures will cause harm to outside pets, livestock and pipes.
