Coggin Elementary PTO iinvites the public to join the first annual Coggin Joggin’ fun run happening on Saturday, February 25th.
“Several of the teachers have been inspired to get back into shape and we all started walking and running after school,” said Brenda Hernandez who is a coordinator for the event. “We thought this would be a great way to help the PTO raise money, but mostly to get family and kids back into shape and have fun!”
T-shirts will be available and medals will be awarded to the top 3 male and female in each age group. Entries must be received by February, 15th to be guaranteed a shirt.
The route for the event is posted on the Coggin Elementary website in addition to the registration form which can be printed and mailed or completed online at: www.brownwoodisd.org/cogginjoggin. The registration fee is $20.00 for the 5K and $10.00 for the 1.5 mile walk/fun run with proceeds benefiting Coggin Elementary.
