FOX Sports Southwest and FOX Sports Houston kick off UIL Texas High School football state championship coverage from Cowboys Stadium in Arlington this week.

The wall-to-wall coverage spread over two weeks will feature live game telecasts or webcasts of all championship games, studio shows between games, and replays of past classic championships.

Championship programming on FOX Sports Southwest, FOX Sports Southwest Plus, and FOX Sports Houston will include live high-definition telecasts of 1A Division I and Division II, 2A Division I and Division II, 3A Division II, 4A Division I and Division II, and 5A Division I and Division II title games. Tripleheaders are scheduled on Thursday, Dec. 15; Friday, Dec. 16; and Saturday, Dec. 17. 

The 4A Division I game on Friday, Dec. 16 at 8:00 p.m. CT also will be televised nationally as part of FSN’s National High School Football Game of the Week carried on participating FSN affiliates.

The 3A Division I championship on Friday, Dec. 9 will be webcast live on FoxSportsSouthwest.com and FoxSportsHouston.com. It also will be televised on Time Warner Cable’s Texas Channel, which is available to digital cable customers on Time Warner Cable systems in Austin (channel 888), Corpus Christi (channel 888), Dallas (channel 185), El Paso (channel 24), the Rio Grande Valley (channel 888), Laredo (channel 888), San Antonio (channel 888), Waco-Temple-Killeen (channel 888) and Wichita Falls (channel 888)

Six-Man Division I and Division II championships on Saturday, Dec. 10 from Shotwell Stadium in Abilene will be webcast live on FoxSportsSouthwest.com and FoxSportsHouston.com.

Craig Way and Randy McIlvoy will split play-by-play duties. Former Port Arthur Jefferson High School and Texas A&M wide receiver Shea Walker, Brownwood High School head coach Bob Shipley, Texas Football managing editor Travis Stewart, and former Houston Texans defensive end N.D. Kula will rotate as analysts.

FOX Sports Southwest’s Neil Beasley and Lesley McCaslin, former Abilene High School and University of Texas standout Ahmad Brooks, and Austin sportscaster Leila Rahimi will serve as sideline reporters.

Ford Championship studio shows hosted by Ric Renner, recruiting expert Randy Rodgers and Stewart will anchor the live games.

FOX Sports Southwest and FOX Sports Houston will dig into the video vault and replay classic Texas High School state championship games from past years beginning on Sunday, Dec. 10.

Fans will be able to relive Lewisville’s 58-34 victory over Converse Judson in 1996, Katy’s 16-15 come-from-behind win over Southlake Carroll in 2003, Duncanville’s 24-21 thriller over Converse Judson in 1998, Pearland knocking off the nation’s No.1-ranked team Trinity 28-24 in 2010, and Lake Travis’ wild 36-34 win over Highland Park in 2007.
