CMSgt James L. “Jim” Draycott, 84 of Rochelle, passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 in Brownwood.
Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, December 13, at Rochelle Baptist Church in Rochelle. Reverend Morris Johnson will officiate. Leatherwood Memorial Chapels of Brady is in charge of services.
He was born September 11, 1935 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to James Draycott and Bessie (Ward) Draycott. He married Margaret Tedder on February 21, 1958 in Abilene, Texas. He was in the United States Air Force for 27 years, serving during the Vietnam War, was Manager or the Rochelle Water System for 10 years and member of Rochelle Baptist Church.

Sons: Jimmy Draycott of Cypress, Texas; Jason Draycott and wife, Jane, of Magnolia, Texas; Jeffrey Draycott and wife, Kendal, of San Antonio.
Former daughter-in-law: Marie Draycott of Spring, Texas.
Sister: Lois Breeze and husband, Tom, of Chandler, Arizona.
Six grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
