The memorial services for Clive Wells McClelland, Jr., age 95, and Mary Elizabeth Wallace McClelland, age 86, will be held on August 10, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the Union Presbyterian Church in Brownwood, Texas. Since both died recently and were inseparable and passionately devoted to each other in life, the family decided that it was fitting that they have a joint funeral, buried together in the same urn.
Clive Jr. and Mary are survived by their three children, Dr. Clive Wells McClelland III of Forest, Virginia, Robin McClelland Metzger of The Woodlands, Texas, and David Beck McClelland of Round Rock, Texas, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Clive Jr. is also survived by his daughter, Pamela Erickson of Arizona, from a previous marriage.
Clive Jr. and Mary were educators and as such touched the lives of not only their family but hundreds of students in Texas, Arkansas, and Colorado for over six decades. It would be an honor to share in the services for this wonderful couple with anyone able to attend.
