Funeral services for Claudine Moore, 72, of Brownwood, will be held at 11 AM, on Tuesday, October 4, in the Haven of Hope Church with Pastor Brian Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Rocky Creek Cemetery under the direction of Netherton Funeral Home and Cremations. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Moore passed away on October 2, 2011, at a local nursing home.

Claudine Edna Moore was born on December 3, 1938, in Goldthwaite, to Frank Stevens and Clara Bullard Stevens. She married Dewey Moore on February 16, 1957, in Hanford, CA and after 40 years of marriage, she and Dewey renewed their wedding vows as a profession of their love for one another. Claudine loved to work with ceramics; she was a member of the Haven of Hope Church and had lived in Brownwood for the last 20 years.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 54 years, Dewey Moore of Brownwood; son, Roger Moore of Allen; daughter, Cindy Wright of Arlington; grandchildren, Henry Coleman, Jessica Coleman, and Michael Coleman; and great-grandchildren, Hayden, Hanna and Hailey. She is also survived by a brother, John Stevens of Sacramento, CA; her sister, Geneva Phillips of San Antonio; and several nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Clara Stevens; a sister, Alene Hubbard; and a brother, Dale Stevens.
