Clair Fulton Whitesell, 88 of Brady, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019, in San Angelo. Clair was born August 24, 1930 in Houston, Pennsylvania. Parents were Malvin Clair Whitesell and Florence Rachael Fulton. Clair was owner of the Household Company (located at the current BNB Community Room). Clair was a member of the First Christian Church of Brady, Veteran of the U.S. Navy and had been in this area since 1959.
Survivors: Wife – Anna Lu Whitesell of Brady; Sons – David Whitesell and wife, Jennifer, of Fort Davis, Todd Whitesell and wife, Diana, of Normangee, and Kyle Whitesell and wife, Sherri, of Burleson; Sister – Ruth Baxter of Eighty-Four, PA; Six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Clair Fulton Whitesell will be at 10:30 am Wednesday, June 26, at First Christian Church in Brady. Rev. Ed Lowe will officiate. Interment will follow at Live Oak Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, June 25, at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels.
