As the big Christmas Festival approaches this weekend, holiday decorations are being installed all around Brownwood. The 17 all new Christmas street pole decorations for the ornamental light poles on Center Avenue are getting the final lights attached and are scheduled to be installed on the light poles Tuesday.
A local architect designed the decorations, and TSTC welding students volunteered their time outside of the classroom to build them while other volunteers attached the lights.
The custom made Christmas tree display was being installed at the traffic “T” on Monday as TSTC students Carmon Coleman and Brad Johnson worked to wire the lights in the cold wind.
Eight new static displays are also being prepared for the Star-lit Trail of Lights at the Depot and Museum Complex.
All of these beautiful Texas themed decorations will help lead up to the Christmas under the Stars Festival scheduled for this Friday and Saturday. CLICK HERE for more information.
