Brownwood News – The City of Early will hold a Smart City Expo on Thursday, February 20, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, at the Early Visitors & Events Center, 419 Garmon Drive.

The Expo is a come and go event and was brought about by a suggestion made at the Community Planning Event held in the Summer of 2019. The Expo has been designed to engage the community, have departmental booths with printed information as well as have someone available to answer questions that anyone might have in regards to the day to day operations within Early city departments.  “It will touch on how state and local government operates and what the future looks like as the City of Early continues to grow and continue to move from Good to Great,” said Cookie Donahoo, Venue and Event Coordinator for the City of Early.
