Brownwood News – The following police summary for the past weekend was provided by the City of Early Police Department.
On Friday 11/01/19 at approximately 3:30 pm officers received a call of a possible intoxicated driver in the 100 Block of Early Blvd. The caller reported the vehicle was striking curbs and was a danger to other motorists. Officers located the vehicle and activated their emergency lights when the vehicle accelerated to a higher rate of speed. Officers pursued the vehicle which pulled over after a few minutes. The driver stepped out of the vehicle and appeared very agitated and aggressive toward officers. Officers then placed the driver in restraints after a brief struggle. The driver was offered a field sobriety test which he failed to comply with orders while taking the test. Officers then applied for and received a search warrant for a blood test. The driver, Eric Alan Pargman was taken to BRMC emergency room for a blood draw and then taken to the Brown County Jail and booked for DWI 2nd offense and resisting arrest and evading arrest.

Criminal Mischief in 400 blk of Grand View. 2 vehicles had tires slashed
Burglary call in 200 Block of Hilcrest. Officer determined it was a civil matter between tenant and roommate
Harassment call in 200 Block of Hilcrest drive
Domestic Disturbance in 600 Blk Early BLvd. female left before officers arrived
Multiple animal at large calls
3 Deer verse car accidents
3 welfare check calls
