Due to the Memorial Day Holiday on May 30, all non-emergency City facilities will be closed and there will be no collection of residential solid waste.
Residents with blue or green carts, please note that your collection days are as follows:
*Monday’s route will be collected on Tuesday.
*Tuesday’s routes will be collected on Wednesday.
Normal collection days will resume on Thursday, June 2nd.
The Recycling Center and Landfill will be closed on Monday, May 30th and will reopen for normal business on Tuesday, May 31st.
As a reminder: If you have brush or tree limbs, please cut them into lengths of 5 feet or less and call the Sanitation Department at 643-4200 for pick up.
For problems related to water or sewer service within the City of Brownwood, customers may call 646-6000, 24 hours per day 7 days per week.
