City Increases Online Services and Closes Drive Through Window / Drop box now used in replacement of the drive through window.

Brownwood News – The City of Brownwood is taking additional operational steps to continue to help slow the spread of COVID-19. These operational changes are effective Monday, 4/13/2020. If you have any questions, please contact Brownwood City Hall at 325-646-5775.

All city services are open and operational, with the exception of the Lehnis Railroad Museum and City Meeting facilities.

“We are committed to provide uninterrupted services, while prioritizing the health and safety of our staff and citizens,” said Brownwood City Manager Emily Crawford. Although customer foot traffic will not be available, the City has a variety of options to access services. In many cases, the additional methods of customer service will increase the convenience and speed of service delivery. “Although not under the circumstances we expected, COVID-19 has accelerated our digital service delivery, which will continue even after the pandemic is over,” stated Crawford.

These precautions are in the best interest of our residents, visitors, employees and their safety. We appreciate the understanding and patience of our community.
