United Blood Services will be holding blood drive next week to help increase the blood supply in the area.
Citizens National Bank at #1 Carnegie Street is sponsoring a blood drive on Friday February 2nd in the United Blood Services Bloodmobile. There is always a need for blood and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in the community.
United Blood Services has been this area’s non-profit community blood provider since 1956 and serves patients in 11 surrounding counties. The United Blood Services network is one of the nation’s oldest and largest non-profit blood service organizations, and is a founding member of America’s Blood Centers and the AABB.
Those who give blood will get a free t-shirt and will be entered into a drawing.
There are several appointments available so visit www.bloodhero.com to set up an appointment today.
Songbird Lodge is also sponsoring a blood drive next week, but all appointments are taken.
