Graveside Services for Cindy Gotcher Hudson, age 58, of Brownwood will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2017, at Eastlawn Memorial Park with Bro. Eddie Ailshie officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.
Our beloved Cindy Marie Hudson, 58, was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, January 16, 2017. She was born January 11, 1959, in Brownwood, Texas to Gene and Doris Gotcher. She married the love of her life Billy Hudson on January 2, 1975. They shared a deep love for one another. She stood by his side through a 20 year battle against kidney disease. She did everything she could, including donating one of her kidneys. She loved Billy with all of her heart. Billy passed away in 2003 leaving a void in her heart.
Cindy was longtime resident of Brownwood. She was a medical transcriber and worked for Dr. Schultz for many years followed by Brownwood Regional Medical Center. She loved her children and grandchildren very much. There were not many days that she didn’t have one of her grandbabies with her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billy Hudson; father, Gene Gotcher and mother, Doris Gotcher.
Survivors include three daughters, Mandy Hudson of Brownwood, Texas, Tiffany Chambers and husband Adam of Rowlett, Texas, and Hailey Hulsey of Garland, Texas; brother, Ricky Gotcher of Waco, Texas; grandchildren, McKensie and Kaleb Salazar, Rachel and Jacob Chambers, and Hayden Hudson; three brother-in-laws, Ronny Hudson of El Paso, Donny Hudson and wife Pam, Gary Hudson and wife Cyndie of Brownwood; stepsister, Linda Lee and husband Jimmy of Ingram; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She is also survived by her longtime childhood friend, Tina Frost.
