Christopher Paul Holguin, 59, of Coleman, died February 19, 2020 at San Angelo Community Medical Center in San Angelo.

Recital of the Holy Rosary will be 10:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 13, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 303 East College Avenue, Coleman.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral, Coleman.

Chris was born October 12, 1960, in Coleman to Erlinda “Lillie” Dela Rosa Holguin Gonzales and the late Sammy Holguin.  He grew up in Coleman and graduated from Coleman High School, later attending Cisco Junior College.  Chris worked for Mahan Tractor Company, loved playing his guitar and reading Christian books.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Lillie and Wally Gonzales of Coleman; two brothers, Stacy Dela Rosa of Coleman; Steven Gonzales of Kyle; aunts and uncles, Becky and Frank Hinojosa of Fort Worth, Sally and Tomas Calderon of Coleman, Sammy and Gay Dela Rosa of Coleman, Jesse and Delia Dela Rosa of Coleman and Louis and Dawn Dela Rosa of Fort Worth.  Also surviving are a niece, Sophia Gonzales of Kyle; a nephew, Ethan Gonzales of Kyle and many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sammy Holguin.
