Santa

The 6th annual Christmas Under the Stars festival will wrap up holiday activities on Saturday night from 4-8 PM at the Depot Plaza Complex and the Lehnis Railroad Museum.

The event, sponsored by KTXS-TV, kicked off Friday night with a variety of holiday activities. Many family friendly events and activities are available to enjoy during the festival including wooden cross building, Christmas ornament decorating, writing letters to Santa, and much more.

Funnel Cakes, hot chocolate and cold drinks are a few of the tasty treats to try while visiting Santa and Mrs. Claus.   This year will also include the Treats for Santa Bake-off competition and a new component, Big Wheel Races for kids and adults.

The Big Wheel races will take place in the parking lot of the Depot Plaza and will offer Big Wheels for adults and kids.  Races will be $5 for 2 races.

The Brownwood ice skating rink will also run its final day on Saturday.  Cost is $2 per person for a 20 minute skating session.  Ice skates are included in the price.

The Lehnis Railroad Museum will offer live entertainment from local talent as well as a Christmas train display and mini-train rides available.
