As part of the Chamber of Commerce’s First Annual Christmas Under the Stars Holiday Festival, CASA
is hosting a Decorated Christmas Tree Forest and contest.
Since this is a community wide event, CASA is inviting businesses to participate in the contest. Each business will supply and decorate a tree to be placed inside the Depot for public viewing during the festival. The Depot will be open on Friday, December 4th from 8 am to 2 pm for set up and decorating. Judging will be at 3pm for three categories which are:
- Most Industry Related Tree
- Most Traditional Tree
- Most Creative Tree
The winning tree in each category will receive a plaque to hang in their place of business.
CASA will also have a silent auction of filled Christmas Stockings. Each stocking must be filled with items of the entrant’s choice with a minimum value of $25. Businesses can participate in both the tree decorating contest and donate a stocking, or just do one or the other. Silent auction winners will be announced in the Depot at 8pm on Saturday, December 5th.
The entry fee is $50 and the deadline to enter is November 27th. All proceeds benefit CASA.
