The Brownwood Art Association sponsored their first Christmas photo contest this weekend in conjunction with the Christmas Under the Stars Festival.
Photographers from across the area submitted entries in the categories of ages 8-14, ages 13-20, ages 21 and above, professional, and the Best Scared of Santa photo.
Visitors at the exhibit inside the Depot Civic and Cultural Center on Friday and Saturday also voted on their favorite to receive the people’s choice award.
Kathryn Jones won the contest in the Best Scared of Santa photo (see above).
