Christi Jo Bode, 29, of Brownwood passed away on Monday, September 10, 2012 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday, September 14 at Davis-Morris Funeral Home, 800 Center Ave., Brownwood, burial will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery in Brownwood. Visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday at Davis-Morris. Christi was born on November 22, 1982 in Knox City, Texas to Chris and Penny Phillips and grew up in Munday where she attended school. She married Dustin Bode on September 14, 2002 in Wichita Falls, TX and they settled in Brownwood in 2005.
Christi was a loving mother who was devoted to her entire family. She was a member of the Law Enforcement Spouse Association and was active in TYFL youth football in Brownwood. She was loved by all that knew her and will be greatly missed.
Christi is survived by her husband, Dustin of Brownwood; children, Austin and Graci of Brownwood: parents, Chris and Penny Phillips of Munday, TX.; brother, James Phillips and his wife Jaelynn of Sweeny, TX.; grandmother, LaCresha Phillips of Palmer, TX.; mother in law, Debbie Bode of Breckinridge, TX.; aunts, Pat Antonisse of Prosper, TX., Paula Nuckols and her husband Troy of Goree, TX., and Janie Hendrix and her husband Tim of Palmer, TX. and uncle Ronnie Phillips of Haskell, TX.
