The Howard Payne University athletic training department today announced the hiring of Chrissy Roach as assistant athletic trainer. Chrissy began her new duties in the training room on August 1st.
Chrissy Roach graduated with honors in 2007 from Texas Lutheran University with a degree in Athletic Training. In 2009, she received her Master’s degree in Kinesiology at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi.
She also worked as graduate assistant with the Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi baseball team. Chrissy then moved to Beaumont, where she worked as a certified athletic trainer at Beaumont Chiropractic before coming to HPU.
Chrissy holds is a Nationally Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification (NATABOC) and is a Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT) in the State of Texas
