raindropstorainbowsThe Brown County Child Welfare Board sponsored the “Raindrops to Rainbows” child abuse awareness event which included the poster contest among the children in Brown County.  The theme was “Stop Child Abuse” and prizes were awarded for first and second place in several age groups and one Grand Prize was given away.

Below is the list of winners from each age group along with the Grand Prize winner, Marley Murray.  Winners may pick up their prizes at the Heartland Mall Office during regular business hours.

Booths were set up to represent many of the child related services in the area.  These included Girl Scouts, WIC, County Health Department, Police doing Children’s ID packets, etc. and of course, the Child Welfare Board which had a booth where literature aimed at positive parenting and stopping child abuse was distributed.
