Chick-fil-A at Heartland Mall in Early will host a fundraiser “Spirit Night” for the Alcorta family who lost their home and possessions to a fire last week.
The fundraiser will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, March 3rd and 15% of the sales proceeds for that time period will be donated directly to the Alcorta family, according to owners Brent and Sarah Gooch.The Alcorta’s have two teenage sons and a 9-year-old daughter who attend Early ISD. The family did not have homeowners’ insurance at the time of the fire. The fundraiser is an effort of “neighbors helping neighbors,” according to the Goochs.
