Funeral Services for Charles Franklin Gray, age 75, of Bangs will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at The Worship Center at 506 Edwards St. in Brownwood with Bob Gumbert and Jim Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Bangs Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday evening at Davis-Morris Funeral Home. Charles passed from this life on Saturday May 12, 2012 at Bangs Nursing Home.
Charles was born on February 05, 1937 in Abilene, Texas to Jim M. and Esther Arnold Gray. He married Arletta Yager from Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1958. In 1969 they moved to Bangs and Charles began his 32 year career with 3M.
Survivors include his wife, Arletta Gray of Bangs; 2 sons, Dale and wife Helen Gray of Bangs, James and wife Diane Gray of Sweetwater; a brother, Johnny and wife Sally Gray of Salado; a sister, Laverne Sanderson of Brownwood; 3 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Esther Gray; a brother, Jessie Gray; and a nephew, Jerry Gray. Condolences may be left for the family at www.davismorrisfuneralhome.com.
