RhondaChantayBlankinshipFuneral Services for Chantay Blankinship, age 25, of North Lake Brownwood, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2016, at North Lake Community Church (3131 Harbor Dr. May, Tx) with Pastor Ron Keener officiating; burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.

Chantay Blankinship went to join her Heavenly Father and Savior Sunday, May 15, 2016, for eternity.

Chantay was born on November 19, 1990, to Michelle (Barnett) McDaniel in Brownwood, Texas. She graduated from Brownwood High School in 2010. Chantay was a devoted child of God; her Bible was her most precious belonging. She attended Blanket First United Methodist Church a few years ago. She gave her life to the Lord and was baptized. After BFUMC, Chantay started attending church North Lake Community Church and became a part of the body of believers there.

Chantay was a kind hearted and gentle soul; she would do anything in the world for anybody.  She always had a genuine smile on her face. Chantay was outgoing, funny, and loved flashy things. She loved going bowling, roller skating, and walking. If you were ever out at North Lake Brownwood, you more than likely saw Chantay walking and listening to music, as she smiled and waved when she passed by.

Left to cherish her memories are her fiancé, John Adams of Lake Brownwood; mom, Michelle McDaniel and step-dad Steven McDaniel of Brownwood; siblings, Destinee Cozart, Hunter Vinson, Trevon Vinson, Cutter Dickey, Rowdy White, Brayden Harlan, and Aliyah Harlan; step-siblings, Koren McDaniel, Seth McDaniel, Madison McDaniel, Chad McDaniel, and Tanner McDaniel; maternal grandfathers, Charlie Barnett of Lake Brownwood and Wink Banister; step-grandmother, Vicki Sanders of Franklin, Tx. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousin, and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Sherrye Banister; maternal great-grandparents, Kenneth and Catherine McCallister, and Charlie E. Barnett; and paternal great-grandmother, Olene Falkner.
