Funeral services for Chance Allen, age 32, of Brownwood, Texas, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2013, at the Heartland Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Greenleaf Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Chance passed away suddenly Wednesday, December 4, 2013, in Brownwood.
Chance Raymond Allen was born December 19, 1980, in Brownwood, Texas, to Carl and Teresa Gentry Allen Sr. He was a 1999 graduate of Brownwood High School and had attended McMurry University for three years where he was on the dean’s list He had previously worked as a manager at World Finance in Cleburne and at Walmart in Brownwood.
Survivors include one son, Hayden Kyle Allen of Brownwood; his mother, Teresa Allen of Brownwood; one brother, Carl Allen Jr. and wife Belinda of Brownwood; and by two nieces, Allison and Adrianna Allen of Brownwood. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Allen Sr.
