Community Action Partnership of Central Texas Opportunities is offering free and fast tax returns each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1pm to 4:30pm starting January 24th through April 15th at the Texas State Technical College campus. TSTC is located at 305 Booker Street in Brownwood.
Taxpayers who worked a job sometime last year and earn less than $50,000 a year are qualified to receive these free services.
According to organizers, “You could get up to $5000 back in earned income and other tax credits!” This service offers:
- Electronic Tax Return Filing
- Fast Refunds
- No Tax Preparation Fees
Taxpayers should bring:
- Valid Photo Identification
- Social Security Cards (for all household members)
- Original copies of all 2011 W2 statements
- Copy of 2010 tax return
- All other tax forms to be filed (child care, tuition, etc.)
