Cedonia Elizabeth Simons went to be with the Lord Nov. 3, 2014 at Senior Care Nursing Home in Brownwood, TX.
Born: Cedonia Elizabeth Geer on Ma’s Hill in Bangs, TX on May 1, 1929 to John Robert and Myrtle Norris Geer.
Education: After graduating from Bangs High School in 1946, she graduated in 1950 from Howard Payne College in Brownwood, TX.
She taught elementary school for 30 yrs.
Cedonia had many hobbies including: gardening, embroidery, and she was an avid canner.
She was married on Dec. 24, 1950, to Ire Ronnel Simons at Coggin Avenue Baptist Church.Preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
A faithful member of Concord Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sisters, Novella Geer and Freddie Jay and one brother John Geer and his wife Joy; her son and his wife Ronnel and Shelli Simons; two grandchildren and their spouses, Benjamin and Elisabeth Simons and Jonathan and Sarah Simons; and also three great grandchildren, Jedidiah, Jaron, and Adalee Simons, and numerous nieces and nephews.
