Brownwood News – Four people received prison sentences ranging from 4 to 25 years in Brown/Mills County District Court. The cases were presented by District Attorney, Micheal Murray. Judge Stephen Ellis presided in 35th District Court.
Donnie Walters, pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to Twenty-five (25) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
Casey Bryan Childs aka Christopher Todd Criswell, pied guilty to the felony offenses of Obstruction or Retaliation and Driving While Intoxicated and was sentenced to Five (5) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
Thomas Bret Jackson, pied guilty to three separate felony offenses of Theft over $2,500 under $30,000 and was sentenced to Five (5) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
Shanna Lynn Hughitt, pied guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to Four (4) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
