Brownwood News – CASA will be hosting an Information Session Tuesday, March 5th, 6:00 pm at Community Connections of Central Texas (formerly Family Services Center), 901 Avenue B in Brownwood.
This informational meeting is for anyone who is interested in learning more about becoming a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children in the child welfare/foster care system or learning about ways to support the mission and work of CASA in the Heart of Texas, which serves children in the system from Brown, Mills, and Comanche counties.
CASA volunteers make a positive impact on the lives of abused/neglected children in our community. By passionately speaking up for the best interest of a child, they help a child during one the most difficult times in their lives.
The next Pre-Service Volunteer Training is scheduled to begin the week of March 18th.
Call the CASA office at 325-643-2557, email Joanne@casahot.org, or visit www.casabrownwood.org for more information or BE THERE for CASA 101 next Tuesday to learn how you can make a difference in the life of a child.
