Court Appointed Special Advocates in the Heart of Texas will host a training session later this month.
CASA is in need of 30 volunteer advocates to provide a voice for children who are removed from their home and in the foster care system due to child abuse.
A CASA advocate must be at least 21, have at least 5 to 15 hours a month for a minimum of 12 to 18 months and have a desire to advocate for what is best for a child and to make a difference in a child’s life.
