The Child Welfare Board of Brown County and the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) in the Heart of Texas will be sponsoring a fundraising 5K and fun run, “Run Wild for a Child” on November 12th.
The “Run Wild for a Child” event will be held at Riverside Park in Brownwood. Awards will be given to the overall male/female finisher. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each age group. Fun Run medals will be given to the top 3 boys and girls in each age division.
The entry fees for the 5K run are as follows:
• $25 for 18 & older
• $15 for 17 & under
• $30 for all ages registering after November 1st
• The Fun Run (ages 12 & under) entry fee is $10.
Participants who register by November 1st will be guaranteed an event t-shirt.
