SnellCarolynCarolyn Raye Snell, 68 of Early, Texas has been called home to with her Lord and Savior.  She would like to let you know that her work here is done, although sudden and unexpected.   A memorial service will be held 2:30 PM Sunday, October 9, 2016 at the Heartland Funeral Home in Early, Texas.

Carolyn was born on September 19, 1948 to Harrell Ray Snell and Bonnie Carolyn Browning in Pasadena, Texas. She graduated High School in Anacoco, Louisiana as valedictorian of her class and later attended Northwestern State University of Louisiana.   Carolyn had worked as a property manager for Ross Setzler/Oakwood Apartments and Ridgewood Gardens.  She had a love for God with very strong beliefs and convictions.   She poured her heart and soul into everything in her life from her children, grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  When she wasn’t with them she was traveling with friends and cousins to see what new adventures they could encounter.   You could always count on Carolyn to be bringing home someone that God put in her path to help out in some way.  She never met a stranger and made it her mission to make sure no one would ever go without.  She was loved by so many, the hearts she touched throughout her life was extraordinary beyond measures.

Survivors include her children Dennis H. Swain, Amy and Jeff Hutson, Todd Jordan, Angela Jordan and Brandon Jordan; siblings Ronnie Snell, Sherry Wisener, Dallas Snell, Jerry and Sheila Findley, Ginger Snell, Mike and Jeannie Orme, Mark and Kerry Orme and Monty and Pam Orme; grandchildren Sarah Swain, Logan Hutson, Liam Swain, Breanna, Annalyse, Trinitee, Garrett and Chloe Jordan, Zachary Brissener, and Desirae Thompson; great grandchildren Cricket and Trippar Caulkins. Numerous nieces, nephews and special friend Michael Murphy also survive.  Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jimmy Snell, daughter-in-law Karen Swain and sister Melanie Orme.

A memorial fund in Carolyn’s name has been established at Citizens National Bank to benefit the Rental Assistance Program at Good Samaritan Ministries.
