A graveside funeral service for Carolyn McAlister, age 66, of Brownwood, will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 5, 2014 in the Jenkins Springs Cemetery with Bill Slaymaker officiating, under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home of Early.
Ms. McAlister died Friday at St. David’s Medical Center in Austin. She was born on November 4, 1948 in Gainesville, Texas to Oklahoma and Merle (Woodfin) Westerman.Carolyn is survived by her five children, Wesley McAlister of Brownwood, Lori McAlister, Tracy McAlister, both of Kemp, OK, Kelli Maestas of Sherman, and Scotty McAlister of Santa Anna; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Fred, Phillip and Larry Westerman, all of Brownwood.
