Carolyn Louise McHorse, age 61, of Brownwood, passed away Monday October 5, 2009 at her home in Brownwood. Cremation held under the direction of Davis Morris Funeral Home. A private family service will be held at a later date.
Carolyn was born January 18, 1948, in Jackson, Mississippi to I.N. and Beatrice (Martin) Griffing. She married Lewis “Tex” McHorse on June 4, 2003 and had resided in Brownwood since 1993.
Carolyn is survived by two sons, Alan Horn of San Angelo, and David Horn of Ft. Collins, Co.; a daughter, Tammy Barraza of San Antonio; 13 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lewis “Tex” McHorse; and several aunts and uncles.
