A white Jeep crashed into a house Saturday morning sending the driver to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
According to Brownwood Police, the 21-year-old male driver stated the accident happened due to the vehicle’s brakes “locking up.” The vehicle struck a home in the 800 block of W. Austin Avenue causing damage to the exterior of the frame home’s pier and beam foundation around 10:20am. The driver was able to avoid striking three fence posts and a tree which were in close proximity to the point of impact with the house.
