A huge congratulations to Jean Campbell, RN on being chosen as the Brownwood Regional Medical Center (BRMC) 2010 Employee of the Year. Jean Campbell, RN of Women’s Services represents an employee that exemplifies all Standards of Behavior. Regardless of the context you know her; Jean is always creating lasting impressions on those around her; Attitude is Everything! Create a Lasting Impression. She is always striving to be the best at her job and it reflects in the comments received from her co-workers and her patients.
Jean continually makes personal sacrifices to meet the needs of the department whether it is working long shifts, coming in when not scheduled for meetings or working nights. Because she is invested in Brownwood Regional Medical Center; this is not just a job to her; it is a commitment.
Outside of work, Jean displays the exact same commitments to whatever she is involved in. Several years ago, Jean participated in a thirty mile breast cancer walk and is making plans to participate again. Jean takes teamwork to heart, as she has stepped in to help the Education Department as the instructor for nursing staff outside of her specialty unit and is extremely passionate about ensuring her fellow nurses are well educated in their specialty area. Above all Jean represents what nurses should strive to be; excellent in all they do. She is always happy, considerate and has never met a stranger.
Jean is an asset to BRMC, and we are so grateful to have her as one of our own. As employee of the year Jean and a guest will enjoy an all expenses paid trip to Nashville! We wish you lots of fun Jean and congratulations on this exciting award!
