The Recreation Department of the City of Brownwood is requesting volunteers to assist in final preparations of the new Camp Bowie Soccer Complex.
Volunteers are asked to help fill low spots in the turf with sand donated by Premier Silica of Brady, Texas.
The work day will be held on Saturday August 15th from 7:30AM until noon at the Camp Bowie Soccer Complex next to Gordon Wood Stadium.
Volunteers are asked to bring a 5 gallon plastic bucket, a kitchen type broom, hand shovel or coffee can to spread sand. The city will supply a limited number of the above items available.
