Cameron Victor Warren I went to be with our Lord on January 30, 2015. Memorial service will be Thursday February 5, 2015 2-5 pm at the American Legion Lodge, N. Lake Brownwood. Interment will be at The Texas State Veterans Cemetery, Abilene, Texas. Arrangements with Girdner Funeral Home, Abilene, Texas.
He was born on October 26, 1926 in San Angelo, Texas to Zula and Carlos Warren.
Cameron served the Army, Navy and Air Force as a radio operator, going on to study electronics. He retired from E-Systems in 1989 as an electronics engineer and lived in May, Texas on Lake Brownwood with his love Barbara. Cameron enjoyed traveling with Barbara and being very active with his musician friends, performing as a bass guitarist for local parties weekly. His joy was helping his neighbors and friends.
Survivors: His Love Barbara, brother Gary and Charlotte Warren, sister Zoe Forrester, son Jerry Warren and wife Sherry, daughter Jody Little, 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Cameron also adopted and loved all of Barbara’s family as his own.
