Calvin W. Troyer, age 81, of Bangs, Texas passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016 in a Brownwood nursing home. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Sandtown, Michigan and cremation was under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.
Calvin Willard was born in LaGrange, Indiana to Clarence and Wavia Troyer. He attended school in Engadme, MI and was a farmer, carpenter and logger. Calvin attended the Bangs First Baptist Church and enjoyed square dancing and horse hitches.
Survivors include his children Charles Troyer, Marvin Troyer, Cynthia Masengale, Donna Mills, Thomas Troyer and Connie Geron, 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 8 siblings.He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and 3 siblings.
