Brownwood News – Brown County Commissioners met Monday morning, May 4, with all Commissioners present and Judge Paul Lilly presiding.
Highlights from the meeting:
The Burn Ban remains off at this time in Brown County.
Lisa Dick of the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department gave an update on COVID-19 testing. Numbers didn’t change over the weekend, still 36 positive cases in Brown County, but they are reconciling numbers from tests that were pending and those should be available later today.
Commissioners discussed possible action to move funds from reserve to pay for infrastructure projects. They took no action given the current economic uncertainty brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Commissioners will meet again next Monday, May 11.
