Brown County Commissioners continued to take no action on implementing a burn ban at Friday morning’s meeting of the court. Although no ban was implemented, commissioners agreed to seriously consider the possibility of a burn ban at the next regular meeting of the court at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, August 25th. The most recent burn ban, which had been in place since May 5th, was lifted by commissioners on June 8, 2014.
In other matters on Friday’s agenda:
*Commissioner Gary Worley, Precinct 1, received approval of an agreement between Brown County and Oncor Electric Delivery Company, LLC for rehabilitation of County Roads 221 and 222 for future line placement.*Commissioners reappointed Keith Clark and appointed Paul Waldrop, who will replace Dave Fair on the Brown County Hospital Authority Board. Both Clark and Waldrop will serve two-year terms on the board.
