Building Contractors Invited to Meeting Monday With City of Brownwood Code Dept.

Brownwood News – The following news release is from the City of Brownwood.

The City of Brownwood Code Department would like to invite you to a meeting at 5:00 pm on Monday July 29, at the Adam Street Community Center to discuss the insulation requirements of the 2015 IECC. There has been some debate and confusion on what is acceptable and what will meet the State required REScheck. In order to help clear up some of this confusion we want to meet with you and discuss some alternative ways to meet the required REScheck that may help you save cost and still meet the requirements of the Code.

Please make plans to attend this meeting at 5:00 pm on Monday July 29, at the Adam Street Community Center located at 511 East Adams Street.
