Early Friday morning the Brownwood Police Department responded to an alarm that sounded at the Runaway Train located on S. F. Austin according to a police report. When police arrived at the location they observed that a window had been broken and other evidence that indicated someone entered the building without authorization.
The owner was called and arrived on the scene to view the damage and look for any missing items. The owner observed that some change was missing along with a plastic tray.
The report states that a large rock was inside and police believe that the rock was used to break the window. Police did recover the plastic tray laying in a ditch on the side of the road near the area.
