Brownwood News – There is a good chance for rain, off and on, Thanksgiving Day in Brown County and football fans going to Waco to root for the Lions on Friday should take the rain gear.

The forecast calls for rain to start Wednesday night with mainly light rain showers to begin the day Thursday.  It won’t rain all day Thursday but will come and go with a mix of light to occasionally heavy showers and a thunderstorm or two.  Temperatures will likely remain in the mid to upper 40’s all day Thursday.

The rain doesn’t end Thursday.  Rain is likely again on Friday, especially Friday morning.  Rain and thunderstorms look likely early Friday afternoon in Waco for fans attending the Lions football game against Argyle.  Temperatures are also forecast to warm up on Friday to around 68 degrees.  One final round of rain and thunderstorms is likely Friday night into early Saturday morning.  Skies are forecast to clear Saturday afternoon with highs Saturday near 70.  Sunday is expected to be sunny with highs near 60.
