To honor and celebrate Veterans Day, the community held its annual parade that began at the Brownwood Colisuem, traveled through downtown Brownwood, and ended near the Depot.
Many local Military organizations participated in the parade by showcasing local veterans and showing support for those who have served.
Although area schools were in session during the holiday, several elementary campuses took time out to bring the students to watch the parade and honor the veterans. Brownwood and Brookesmith schools waved flags and held up signs of support.
The Brownwood High School and Howard Payne Marching bands helped set the tone for the parade by playing patriotic music.
