Although the games got rained out Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, the Brownwood Thunder girls U12 softball team did not let that ruin their focus. When the rain let up, the tournament resumed and games finished up Saturday night. This was the night the Brownwood Thunder would defeat the Dublin Knockouts 7-1 for the Championship in the TTAS District 3 Freshman girls tournament.
The tournament was held in Winters, Texas for five days, July 5th through July 10th. Brownwood Thunder captured the District Championship by going undefeated and will move on to the State tournament in Ennis, TX the week of July 19th.
