Brownwood High School senior Shylah Cutbirth was featured on the Abilene KTAB news over the weekend about her treatment of muscular dystrophy.
The interview and story features Shylah and her quest for treatment for MD aided by the donation from her cousin Zach Peterson of the Hands on a House prize that he won during the Brownwood Reunion Celebration in September.
KTAB reporter Michelle Ashworth visited Brownwood on Friday to shoot the interview and get some shots at the pep rally.
The story intro reads, At first glance Shylah Cutbirth and Zach Peterson look like two normal teenagers. But at 17-years-old Shylah has been diagnosed with muscular dystrophy and so her cousin Zach donated a house he won at the “Hands on a House” contest to raise money for the new experimental treatment Shylah is seeking for her disease.
