Brownwood News – Shipley Do-nuts located at 305 West Commerce Street is now open for business. The newly opened eatery will host a Grand Opening tomorrow, July 10th. The first 200 customers starting July 10th at 5 a.m. will receive a free tumbler, with free coffee refills at the Brownwood location for life.
Once the Long John Silver’s restaurant in Brownwood, the spot was sold in December to Danny Chang, of Killeen, who owns seven Shipley Do-Nuts locations in Texas. This is the second Long John Silver’s restaurant Chang has purchased to renovate into a Shipley Do-Nut’s location.
Chang has been associated with Shipley Do-nuts since 1997, opening his first franchise in 2007.
Shipley Do-Nuts is an American doughnut chain with more than 300 franchised stores in the Southern United States, including Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, and Alabama. Its headquarters are located in Northside, Houston, Texas.
